The next stage of the trail starts directly to the rear of Rech train station.  It crosses a small railway bridge to the RWW (the Red Wine Hiking Trail). For 500 m you walk along a paved road up a hill leading through a small wood to the viewpoint called ‚Moses-Quelle’. The wonderful view of the little wine growing villages of Rech and Dernau invites you to have a rest on the benches there. The RWW is a narrow forest path here which leads you along the ‚DernauerSchieferlay’ vineyard to the centre of Rech.

Tip In Rech and Dernau it is worth visiting one of the traditional and cosy private wineries open for rustic snacks only for a few months of the year.
